LCS provides error checking on the data connection to insure data integrity.
If a problem is detected during data transmission the record is flagged
for review by the appropriate supervisor. The supervisor can then verify
receipt of the data. If the data was not received, the supervisor can
then retransmit the record. LCS will then attempt the transmission again
and if another error is encountered the record is flagged and LCS will
suspend data transfer until your network is checked for problems.
LCS allows customization for individual client station configuration of initial setup and connectivity. While most of these options are of a standard Windows format, some selections provide for data updates and data table repairs if data corruption occurs during network or mainframe failure. Each client station may also have a unique work area identity to reduce data clutter.
Several standard reports are provided to aid in the management of personnel using LCS, however, most reports will be tailored to meet your individual specifications.
