Labor Collection System
Every client has special requirements, LCS has been designed to allow for
changes in the software to meet your companies individual need. Therefore
all of the process identified below can be modified, added or removed
entirely.
EMT's Labor Collection System (LCS) is a Windows based system providing users a
simple interface with Western Data System's (WDS) Compass CONTRACT®.
LCS's purpose is to provide your company with a central point of data
input using either keyboard and/or barcode entry for time collection,
work order movement, quality inspections, and supervisory editing. Information
is stored in a central data structure that can utilize Oracle 7 or SQL
Server, giving users extended flexibility and functionality for collecting
information not accessible via Compass CONTRACT®. LCS's "real
time" error checking function reduces the need for costly reviews
and error corrections.
LCS also eliminates the need to build a reference data structure on a separate system, which would require scheduled updates at regular intervals throughout the day to insure integrity of the two systems. This could mean 2 to 4 hours of delay from real time data for your users and the need to have a complicated software structure to insure data integrity. LCS also provides a timed shut down to allow your main system to backup data.
